This weeks post is based on information that I have received from IDA Ireland regarding why Ireland is such a great place to do business, which is detailed below. IDA Ireland gave me great insight into what Ireland has to offer and why it is an exceptional place to do business.
So, why is Ireland a great place to do business?
Ireland is an exceptional location for those who wish to do business here. We offer a highly skilled workforce, a strong economy, a great quality of life and contemporary infrastructure.
The standard of living in Ireland is one that is bright and unrivalled. Major public investments into developing wellbeing indices to track metrics based on the quality of life are being introduced under the Project Ireland 2040 strategy.
Ireland is also an extremely diverse place, with over 200 different nationalities represented. Ireland is committed to having an inclusive society and industry and the Irish people have been outlined as exceptionally friendly to foreign residents according to the InterNations’ Expat Insider 2021 report.
Another reason why Ireland is a great place to do business is because it is a hub for some of the biggest names in technology, with modern telecommunications and broadband infrastructure available.
Ireland also offers highly educated and skilled workers that can aid any business with setting up and expanding, with 62.3% of people aged 23-34 having completed third-level education according to IDA Ireland.
The Irish economy also had connections to the world due to the transport link with the UK and Europe and many more, which is hugely advantageous to companies.
Another advantage of doing business in Ireland is that being a member of the EU, allows access to the EU single market.
Ireland is also one of the world’s best- performing advanced economies and are well equipped for future growth due to the capital investment plans.
Ireland also offers a flexible infrastructure as you will have accesses to airports or transport hubs no matter where you set up and there are constant investments into the rail, air and sea networks.
great post!
